Pray

Find ways to deepen your faith and explore the ancient spiritual paths. Our facilities include an outdoor labyrinth and a walking path with seasonal meditations including the Stations of the Cross.

Learn

Christian Formation includes a Sunday Adult Lecture series and three weekday book and Bible studies.

Bring your Family

Your children will step into a world of active learning through Children's Ministries which includes Sunday School and Children's Dinner Theater. Youth programs including Confirmation are offered for those in 6th grade and above.

Get Involved

A church is a community of people that come together, not only for worship, but for relationship. Getting involved in one or more of the ministries of St. James will enrich your life in unexpected ways. Give of yourself, and you will find a great return for your investment.

Souper Bowl of Caring

For the past two years, the St. James Youth Group has been a part of the Souper Bowl of Caring, a nation-wide event raising money for local charities. We have raised over $500 and over 40 pounds of food for Episcopal Community Services of Maryland, The Ark and the Hereford Food Bank. On February 5th our youth will be collecting money and food donations outside of coffee hour. Please join with our young people as they demonstrate God’s love by loving their neighbors through the Souper Bowl of Caring.

24 Hours that Changed the World

2012 Lenten Series: Join us during Lent for an opportunity to engage in a Lenten Study of Rev. Adam Hamilton's book, 24 Hours that Changed the World. This study will help us to see more clearly the theological significance of Christ¹s suffering and death. We will have time together to reflect upon the meaning of these events for our life. We will meet in the Parish Hall at 6:30pm for a light potluck meal of soup and salad, which will be followed by a DVD lesson and a small group discussion. See Fr. Hailey+ or email for more details.
