Discover the art of good works!

Ascribe to the Lord the honor due His name; bring offerings and come into His courts.
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness...Psalm 96

Why are there works of art for sale on our parish web site?

…To call attention to the gifts that God has given us- in the beauty of creation - in the abilities planted deep within us and then made manifest in the works of our hands. The Art Shows presented by Saint James are meant to do three things: to provide selected artists with support for their present and future work; to gather good things from far and wide to present to an appreciative audience; and to raise funds for the ministries of Saint James.

It's a winning combination that serves all and glorifies God. So let us with gladness present these offerings of our life and labor to the Lord! St. James Art Shows and our on-line gallery present both original works and authorized limited edition prints.

Rogation Sunday is a time to celebrate creation and creativity so it is fitting that this 2010 Rogation Sunday Art Show expands both the artists and the media we present. It includes painters, a sculptor, a wood turner, and an artist from the Southwest who works in mixed metals and semi-precious stones to produce what he calls "Wall Jewelry".
