The Organ is Here!

A Bright Liturgical Instrument For The Next 100 Years
For centuries no other instrument has served as effectively in leading congregational hymnody as the pipe organ. Part of this unique effectiveness comes from the fact that its sound originates in wind-blown pipes. The pipe organ "sings" the same way people do, using wind to generate inviting, warm, and satisfying sound.
In Time For The New Millennium!
In the Fall of 1999, just in time for our 250th anniversary year, and as an expression of faith and confidence in the new Century God has given us, our new organ will be installed.
The framed graphic display depicts the facade of this wonderful instrument which will inhabit the same loft as the old organ. It is currently being built for us by the Peragallo Pipe Organ Company, which has been building organs under that name since 1918. Prior to that time, the family was associated with the Skinner Organ Company, which built part of our existing organ.
The instruments built by this family firm reflect both a deep-rooted dedication to old world craftsmanship and a commitment to the functional technology of today's digital world. All Peragallo organs are custom designed, built, and personally voiced.
