Entertaining Angels

Saint James is a large parish with many parts - we have two liturgies, seventeen Ministry Communities and over 800 baptized members. But we want each new person to be welcomed and shepherded so that they can find their way into the heart of Saint James.

The Entertaining Angels take the lead in this work by sending a Welcome Packet to every person who inquires about the church, making sure that everyone who comes has a name tag, and by hosting the annual Newcomers Dinner, which is a family affair.

Hospitality is part of who we are. If you are new, make yourself known so that we can welcome you. If you have a heart for making visitors feel like honored guests, we can always use more Entertaining Angels. In either case, Bonnie is eager to hear from you.
