The Center for Spiritual Development

Welcome Dear Ones:

Thank you for your interest in the Center for Spiritual Development at Saint James Parish. We are blessed with a beautiful landscape and lovely spaces in which to explore God's presence with us.

I am the director of the Center. My training includes studies at the Stillpoint School for Spiritual Direction, the program for Christian Spirituality at General Seminary, and the Doctor of Ministry program at the University of the South. I have maintained a private practice in Spiritual direction for 15 years and have served as the Chaplain to the commission on Ministry of the Diocese of Maryland for the past eight years.

We are now in partnership with St. James Parish in Monkton, Maryland, which enables us to offer programs in four lovely settings located on the St. James campus.

As I write this message to you, I am looking forward, with joy, to sharing all that we are doing with you. Our desire is to create programs and events, which become frames for entering into communion with the Divine.

We are a pilgrim people, and to that end, our programs operate under the metaphor of pilgrimage. We invite you to walk with us.
